18 Esquire Road Billerica, MA
Perry Brokerage today announces that Jeremy Roy, Senior Vice President, and Tyler Hilson, Broker Associate, represented Walden Local Meat in a successful expansion and relocation to a new headquarters at 18 Esquire Road in Billerica. With another location under agreement that had fallen through and an immediate lease expiration, Walden Local Meat hired Perry to identify industrial properties with clear height sufficient to freeze their meat in a vertical, as opposed to horizontal, orientation.
“We were pleased to assist our client Walden Local Meat in a search with a variety of unique characteristics” said Jeremy Roy, who went on to say “we were able to work with Walden in an evaluation which required numerous tours and found an ideal location with suitable clear height at 18 Esquire Road, and were able to work with the landlord to facilitate an early termination to accommodate Walden Local Meat’s required occupancy time frame”. The North Shore industrial market is 7.7 percent vacant as of the second quarter of 2017, and demand is strong for functional space, additional factors that provided challenges to finding the right location under the right terms.
“We’re delighted to join the Billerica community. Everyone in town has been incredibly welcoming and we’re excited to get set up. We have many customers in town and it is an ideal location for us right off of Route 3 – as most of our products are raised to the North and sold to the South, it will work nicely for us. Jeremy and his team did a great job working through some tricky requirements with us on an extremely tight timeline” Said, Charley Cummings, CEO, Walden Local Meat.
Ellen Garthoff, David Stubblebine, James Stubblebine and Micah Stubblebine of The Stubblebine Company/CORFAC International represented the Landlord, Wakefield Investments, in the transaction.
